Nathan & Heidi | Sydney Maternity Photographer

I met this adorable Canadian pair at the PBC Expo in May when they stopped by my stall for a chat. Catching up with them again for their maternity session felt like catching up with old friends. We arrived at Audley in the Royal National Park and hugged, I marvelled at just how much her perfect bump had grown and we strolled around the park, seeking out the perfect pockets of afternoon sun. We laughed and chatted about all the exciting things they looked forward to doing as parents, how thrilled they were that their parents were coming to visit from Canada, and we leisurely walked around the beach near their home as the sun dipped below the horizon, blessing us with the most spectacular sunset colours to wrap up our session! I’m so excited to meet their new little man this week as we do their newborn session! Congratulations Nathan & Heidi!!

Zachary Turns ONE! | Sydney Family Photographer

This little cutie had been described by his mum as cheeky, mischievous and non-stop… he certainly lived up to each and every one of those points! He was so cheeky that every time I came near, he pretended to be shy with a wry little smile creeping out from mums shoulder. He was so mischievous that every time I asked him to give mum or dad a cuddle, he decided it was a fantastic time to practice his walking skills, even though he wasn’t on the ground. Every time we put him down, he was off and crawling to explore another part of the park which was far more interesting than we were. This little bundle of smiles had me absolutely melting with each and every toothy little grin! Thanks for spending such a beautiful winter evening with me! Happy first birthday little Zac!!

Eliya Turns ONE | Sydney Family Photographer

This gorgeous little miss was all smiles during her session. That beaming grin was absolutely infectious! Accompanied by her loving family, Eliya enjoyed dipping tiny toes in the waves and some fun playing in the sand… ok so she ate the sand! Eliya’s grandparents joined in and I’m so glad they did. These gorgeous images will be an eternal reminder of just how adored and treasured she is by all! Happy 1st birthday sweet girl!

Lillian & her boys | Sydney Maternity Photographer

In Lillian’s questionnaire, I asked her to define motherhood in just 3 words. She chose Enjoyable, Validating and Defining. These 3 words summed up her maternity session perfectly! She emerged from the car this radiant pregnant goddess, a true vision of beauty, strength, patience, captivating and graceful  – I guarantee I didn’t look anywhere near this level of glamorous in my 3rd trimester! She seemed to enjoy each and every aspect of pregnancy, despite it not exactly being a smooth journey. What a wonderful afternoon spent in the golden glow of this sun drenched field! Congratulations Craig & Lillian on the addition of your little princess to your family!

Jesinta | Sydney Newborn Photographer

From the moment I was welcomed into Paul and Carlie’s divine home, there was this overwhelming sense of the love and connection they share as a family. Their new addition, Jesinta is one very adored little miss and this showed in each an every magical image I captured. We chatted over coffee, took the time to work out some wind issues to ensure miss J was comfortable, and laughed til we cried at the end result of working out the above mentioned wind! Their beautiful little townhouse glowed from the most amazing morning sun which streamed in and illuminated every corner for us. This little bundle of perfection fought sleep right until the very end until she could hold out no longer and crashed out in mum’s arms. So very special!

Lochie turns ONE | Sydney Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting David, Karen and Olivia a year ago while Karen was heavily pregnant. We had a glorious morning exploring Caringbah’s beautiful gem, the Camellia Gardens. I was absolutely thrilled to hear from Karen again, this time to capture their little man Lochie, as they celebrated his first birthday. We decided to revisit the Camellia Gardens for their latest session to show just how much can change in such a short year. Here is the celebration of their gorgeous family!

Cal turns ONE | Sydney Family Photographer

Christo purchased a gift voucher for his wife Tiff’s birthday, and they decided to time their session around their gorgeous little man Cal’s first birthday. When chatting with Tiff about their location, she suggested an urban backdrop, which I was more than happy to do since all my settings are usually nature based, so this was an exciting step outside my norm! We met early one morning in Glebe and had so much fun exploring all the graffiti covered laneways and wandering through so many interesting streets on a mission to find the perfect light and any little pockets of greenery that we could.

This gorgeous family’s house instantly felt like home. It was so warm and inviting with such a wonderful sense of connection and care. Family portraits hung on most of the walls, the boys rooms decked out in the most amazing neutral decor, and the light spilling into every room was so beautiful. Dear little Hayden certainly is surrounded by so much love and affection, especially from big brother, Riley. He took every opportunity to keep watch over everything we were doing with Hayden and was all to eager to snuggle him.

My first newborn of 2017! Meet sweet little Saoirse. I adore the way Irish names are pronounced. They just sound so beautiful. For anyone who cannot pronounce Irish names, Saoirse sounds like Sear-sha. This little lady’s beautiful name matched the beauty of her little face. She is absolute perfection. She didn’t make a peep for the entire session and was utterly content in everyone’s arms. It was the icing on the cake to have a hand knitted heirloom wrap to include in her session. So much love!
